System Engineer

Job Title - Systems Engineer

Location - Onsite Monday–Thursday in NYC (199 Water St.), Remote Fridays

Role Type - Direct Hire

• Strong, hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across the full ecosystem, including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Intune, and Entra
• Deep experience with HPE storage solutions, specifically HPE Alletra
• Strong VMware experience
• Strong experience with blade server systems, including building and deploying servers within those environments

• Serve as a hands-on Systems Engineer responsible for day-to-day infrastructure engineering and support
• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud services across identity, access management, and endpoint management environments
• Administer and optimize HPE Alletra storage solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
• Build, deploy, and maintain blade server environments and virtualized infrastructure using VMware
• Manage and enhance security posture using Azure Conditional Access and Identity Protection tools
• Support Intune and Entra , policies, and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with a tight-knit infrastructure team (approximately 7 members) to maintain high system availability
• Participate in and contribute to daily 9:00 AM team huddles, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across on-prem and cloud environments
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements and ongoing modernization initiatives
• Work directly with leadership to ensure infrastructure aligns with business objectives
• Maintain thorough documentation and provide examples of hands-on technical execution when required
