Remote, however, seeking someone local to New York City / Manhattan for occasional onsite meetings
CDW is seeking a skilled MDM Administrator to support and manage the endpoint environment across macOS and Windows platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who can keep the lights on day-to-day while also contributing to ongoing improvements in device management, security, and end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms including Jamf, Microsoft Intune, and Automox.
- Manage device lifecycle activities such as enrollment, configuration, compliance, patching, and decommissioning.
- Package, deploy, and maintain applications for macOS and Windows environments.
- Handle end-user support tickets related to device issues, application installs, access, and compliance.
- Monitor device health, security posture, and patch levels; remediate issues proactively.
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to enforce policies, improve automation, and enhance endpoint standards.
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement of MDM operations.
- Hands-on experience administering Jamf (Jamf Pro preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune for Windows and device compliance.
- Experience with Automox or similar patch management tools.
- Solid understanding of macOS and Windows endpoint management.
- Experience packaging applications and deploying updates via MDM tools.
- Comfortable working ticket queues and supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.
- Scripting experience (Bash, Power Shell, or similar).
- Familiarity with zero-touch deployment, device compliance frameworks, and security baselines.
- Experience working in SaaS or high-growth environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Endpoints are compliant, secure, and reliably patched.
- Tickets are handled efficiently with a high level of user satisfaction.
- Application packaging and deployments are smooth, repeatable, and well-documented.
- The MDM environment is stable, scalable, and continuously improving.
