Product Development, Tech & Engineering Fellow (Summer)
Hourly Rate: $21.00 (Undergraduate) $23.00 for Graduate Students
All internship positions are onsite and require regular, in-person attendance at the designated work location.
Overview of DepartmentThe information and warehouse management team creates and maintains solutions addressing all phases of the data mining pipeline with roles in Data engineering, Business Intelligence Engineering, and AI Software Engineering.
ResponsibilitiesThe intern will participate in the development and enhancement of analytics and reporting solutions planned or underway within the team. Additionally, they will participate in a full range of customer and IT department activities that will provide real-world exposure to the day-to-day work environment for employees in the department. This fellowship begins in Summer 2026, and candidates should be ready to commit minimum of 12‑months in the role.
ProjectsThe intern will contribute to multiple analytics and reporting goals currently underway for the team, shortening time to delivery.
- Enhancements to the team’s internal resource management and tracking reporting system
- Ensuring accurate creation and timely maintenance of data job documentation both manually and through automation, enhancement and execution of the team’s AI-based documentation generation system.
- Participating in the Office of System Safety reporting modernization project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
- The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.
- Matriculated in an undergraduate program in good standing with at least 2.5 GPA AND/OR matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
- Major(s) Preferred:
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Program in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science. Graduate level students preferred but strong undergraduate candidates will be considered.
