Business Analytics Senior Manager

Overview

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Manager for its New York, NY location.

• Work on fraud rules, scores, and detection strategies, risk appetite execution, POS interdiction strategies, and defect analysis.
• Leverage analytics to identify enhancement opportunities and more granular insights that can be acted upon, while ensuring adherence to the fraud policy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategy recommendations based on data and trend analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
• Build effective relationships within and outside the fraud organization to help ensure successful and timely execution of key portfolio priorities.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends.
• Assess manual and automated processes to identify potential process gaps and opportunities.
• Prioritize and provide a clear line of sight to the most critical work to partners and team members.
• A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation implementing fraud prevention strategies within the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include:
  • Coding in a Big Data environment using SAS and SQL and/or open-source tools including Python, Impala, and Hive;
  • Utilizing traditional and advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms including Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, and Random Forests;
  • Utilizing data visualization tools including Tableau to build dashboards and views that drive decisions based on data;
  • Using quantitative and analytic skills to derive patterns, trends, and insights, and perform risk and reward trade-off analysis.

  Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience.
