About The Role:

The Reg Tech team at Drive Wealth develops data products that provide our compliance department with the necessary data and insights to ensure all regulatory obligations are met. We are looking for a Sr. Analytics Engineer focusing on creating, maintaining, and monitoring highly curated data sources and statistics critical for internal compliance and external regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and has worked closely with data engineers, product managers, and regulatory stakeholders to interpret, clarify, and translate regulatory requirements into efficient, compliant, and usable data marts and reports. This means balancing competing priorities and laying the groundwork for scale while building top‑tier regulatory data products.

• Own the Regulatory and Supervisory Data Layer: Architect, build, and maintain data marts and Sigma reports used for critical regulatory functions (e.g., CAT, EBS, trade monitoring, AML) and internal compliance supervisory monitoring, ensuring consistent, accurate outputs delivered quickly through efficient code with robust testing and verification.
• Translate Regulation to Data: Work directly with business partners and Compliance to translate new regulatory rules, changes, and reporting obligations into precise analytics engineering requirements and data flows, anticipating future features to proactively provide compliant data.
• Support Ad-Hoc Inquiries and Regulatory Exams: Respond quickly and accurately to ad-hoc data requests and regulatory examination inquiries from Compliance and Legal teams, providing data and analysis as needed.
• Implement Controls and Quality: Drive data quality for regulatory reporting by leading the development and implementation of controls, performing user acceptance testing (UAT) and unit testing, coordinating remediation of reporting anomalies, and establishing best-in-class development practices.
• Document and Standardize: Document, revise, and maintain data procedures and process flows as required by internal audit and regulatory standards.

• Deep domain knowledge in Fin Tech/Capital Markets, including a strong understanding of the trade/order lifecycle (Orders, Executions, Allocations) and US regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience working within a larger data team, balancing ideation on solutions, creating output, writing verification tests, and reviewing others’ work.
• Fluent in SQL.
• Familiarity with DBT is required.
