About the Job

We are hiring a Managing Principal to help scale our Cybersecurity practice at a pivotal growth moment. This role combines classic senior‑manager responsibilities—driving sales, owning delivery, and leading teams—with a specific mandate to shape and lead our Cyber + AI offering. You will work with senior stakeholders to build market‑facing propositions, develop pipelines, deliver high‑impact programs, and grow a high‑performing team.

What

You’ll Get to Do
  • Define and scale a Cyber AI strategy and roadmap aligned to market needs and firm priorities.
  • Develop the offering portfolio: packaged solutions, accelerators, playbooks, demos, reference architectures, and partner‑aligned approaches.
  • Lead client engagements where AI is applied to security outcomes.
  • Lead delivery of complex cybersecurity programs with accountability for scope, quality, timeline, budget, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide hands‑on direction to project teams, ensuring strong technical quality and pragmatic execution.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of cybersecurity client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders.
  • Utilize existing relationships to win new business for the firm and deliver quality outputs.
  • Build and execute account plans, create demand, and develop a healthy pipeline across key cyber domains.
  • Lead pursuits end‑to‑end: shaping opportunities, writing proposals, pricing, negotiating scope, and closing deals.
  • Mentor and develop talent; support recruiting, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
What You’ll Bring with You
  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk, with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Prior experience working for a management or technology consulting firm (required).
  • Proven ability to lead complex cybersecurity programs end‑to‑end.
  • Experience leading or contributing to AI security, GenAI governance, or AI‑enabled security operations programs.
  • In depth knowledge of Cyber frameworks (ISO, NIST, CIS, CRI).
  • Experience in one or more cybersecurity domains including, but not limited to:
Resilience, Data Security, Identity & Access Management, Cloud, Threat/Vulnerability, Zero Trust.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences, translating cyber and AI risk concepts into business‑focused language.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects independently, managing client expectations, and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
  • Proven records in leading pursuits end‑to‑end (discovery, solutioning, proposal writing, pricing, negotiation, and closing).
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a cyber or information security related field.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, CISA, CEH, cloud or AI‑related certifications).
  • Willing to work in the New York office 3 days per week.
