• Lead major product and engineering initiatives.
• Build large‑scale, low‑latency distributed systems.
• Develop ML infrastructure and LLM‑based AI workflows.
• Partner with the science team to implement LLM models in production.
• Contribute to LLMOps.
• Design, build, and operate customer‑facing functionality impacting hundreds of millions of shoppers worldwide.

The Sponsored Products and Brands team at Amazon Ads is re‑imagining the advertising landscape through industry‑leading generative AI technologies, revolutionizing how millions of customers discover products and engage with brands across  and beyond. We are at the forefront of re‑inventing advertising experiences, bridging human creativity with artificial intelligence to transform every aspect of the advertising lifecycle from ad creation and optimization to performance analysis and customer insights.

We are a passionate group of innovators dedicated to developing responsible and intelligent AI technologies that balance the needs of advertisers, enhance the shopping experience, and strengthen the marketplace.

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: ML compilers, production coding agents, GenAI model architecture, model training, neural network optimization, or alternatively applied math.

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Our base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
