The State of South Carolina Judicial Branch (SCJB) is seeking a Security Architect / Cisco Security Engineer to support an upcoming enterprise security project. The role involves migrating existing Secure Internet Gateway policies, users, and devices into Cisco Secure Service Edge (SSE) while maintaining existing system functionality and business requirements.

The consultant will design, implement, and manage secure access policies aligned with enterprise security strategies and serve as a subject matter expert on Cisco Web Secure Access and Secure Internet Gateway technologies.

• Design, implement, and manage secure access policies to support enterprise security strategies.
• Migrate existing Secure Internet Gateway policies, users, and devices to Cisco SSE platform.
• Monitor and maintain enterprise security controls and protections.
• Collaborate with security, IT, and business stakeholders to test and validate migrated policies.
• Maintain support for existing systems and business requirements during migration.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Cisco Web Secure Access and Secure Internet Gateway.
• Ensure security protections remain effective after migration.

• 3+ years monitoring and analyzing existing rules and converting them into least-privilege rules for private and web policies.
• 3+ years deploying and administering Cisco Secure Firewall for remote access and IPSEC-based VPN.
• 3+ years experience with Cisco endpoint web filtering technologies or similar (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet).
• 2+ years experience deploying ZTNA or SASE tools.

• Experience deploying Cisco SSE and ZTNA architecture or similar solutions.
• Experience with Cisco Secure
  
  X, Secure Endpoint, and Cisco Secure Client.
• Experience administering Cisco Secure Access.
• Experience with Cisco Umbrella and Secure Internet Gateway products.
• Experience designing and managing secure enterprise access strategies.
• Experience deploying Cisco Remote Access VPN solutions (ASA platform).
• Experience working with Check Point firewalls.

• CCNP Routing and Switching

• Role is fully onsite initially; remote flexibility may be discussed after 30 days.
• Travel not required.
• Security clearance required.
