Under the direction of the Technology Analyst 2 (Artificial Intelligence), the Technology Analyst 1 (Artificial Intelligence) will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of secure and efficient Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems to meet client agency business needs. The position will collaborate with business managers and IT professionals to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring the successful execution of IT projects.
DutiesInclude, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Collect and analyze large sets of data to determine useful patterns and trends.
- Design and implement machine learning models and AI algorithms.
- Enhance existing AI systems and create new solutions based on business needs.
- Coordinate with other team members to integrate AI models into client platforms and services.
- Maintain updated knowledge on the latest AI trends and technologies.
- Prepare detailed reports on AI project progress and performance.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI technology to improve business processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and other IT professionals to ensure proper implementation of AI models.
- Perform regular testing and debugging of AI systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Resolve complex technical issues related to AI implementation and performance.
Five (5) years of information technology experience, one (1) year of which must be within the discipline of artificial intelligence.
Substitutions- Associate’s degree with 15 semester credit hours in computer science or a related field substitutes for one year of general information technology experience.
- Candidates in a bachelor’s degree program with at least 15 semester credit hours in computer science or a related field can substitute for one year of general information technology experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field including or supplemented by fifteen (15) semester credit hours in computer science or a related field substitutes for three years substitutes for three (3) years of general information technology experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field substitutes for two (2) years of general information technology experience.
- Master’s degree or higher in computer science or related field substitutes for one year of general information technology experience.
- Preference for candidates holding relevant certification, in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science, such as those offered by IBM, Google, and Microsoft.
- Deep understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, and deep learning methodologies to design and build AI models.
- Comprehensive understanding of data mining, structures, and modeling, and software architecture to effectively analyze and manage client agencies’ artificial intelligence strategy.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the design, testing, and maintenance of AI models and systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate artificial intelligence system requirements and make recommendations for improvements and optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to team members, stakeholders, and clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience performing statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and applications, network structures, and data security protocols in an artificial intelligence context.
