Location: New York

Vertical Relevance is looking for a Project Manager with Service Now to join our team Full-time in the NYC Metro area. This person is responsible for the end-to-end planning, building, and deploying software systems.

Project Manager to lead and oversee Service Now implementation projects within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will bring a combination of in-depth project management skills, hands‑on experience with the Service Now platform, and the ability to effectively liaison with stakeholders to drive project success. Service Now experience is essential, and Service Now certifications are highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  • Proven experience in Project Management, engagement management, client communication, and Project Leadership:
    Lead Service Now implementation projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Engagement Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including client executives and project sponsors, within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or Sec Ops.
  • Understanding of Service Now Creator Workflow, Employee Workflow, HR, Legal, Talent and stakeholder management.
  • Strong Service Now platform expertise;
    Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Project Portfolio Management) are highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial services industry compliance and regulatory standards.
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and navigate complex client environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:

    8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on Service Now platform in a pre‑sales or delivery capacity, implementations.
  • Proven experience in delivering successful Service Now implementations across Financial Services, Telecom, and HCLS industries.
  • Strong understanding of Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or Sec Ops.
  • Understanding of Service Now Industry and Custom Workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience leading pre‑sales activities, including solution design, architecture, and proposal development.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large, cross-functional project teams.
  • Service Now Certified System services industry to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and clients, including the creation and management of detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle; proactively manage and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Resource Allocation:
    Manage project resources, including cross‑functional team members and third‑party vendors, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Service Now Expertise:
    Provide technical guidance and strategic insights on Service Now capabilities, aligning Service Now solutions with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in the financial services domain.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Monitor project performance, report on progress to stakeholders, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all project activities adhere to compliance standards specific to financial Industry and Custom Workflows.
  • Administrator (CSA) and Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications. (CSA certified or CSA trained, and voucher obtained).
  • Completed the PM development journey.
  • Obtained Service Now Professional Technical Manager Badge
