Our client is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their expanding security practice. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role focused on designing and implementing advanced threat detection strategies.

You will partner with client security teams to develop modern cybersecurity monitoring programs, leveraging SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and NDR platforms to build high-fidelity detection capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing advanced threat detection solutions using SIEM, EDR, and NDR technologies
• Building Detection-as-Code frameworks and real-time data streaming pipelines
• Creating automation workflows and SOAR playbooks to improve incident response
• Developing enrichment pipelines and correlation logic to increase alert accuracy
• Collaborating with client Cybersecurity Operations Centers (CSOC) to strengthen security posture

This is an exciting opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with strategic security consulting, working on complex environments and emerging cyber threats.

Our client is looking for a driven cybersecurity professional who is passionate about threat detection, automation, and modern security engineering.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or threat detection
• Strong expertise with SIEM platforms, log streaming, and security data engineering
• Practical experience with SOAR platforms and security automation
• Solid programming skills in Python and SQL
• A deep understanding of common cyberattack techniques and detection methodologies

Additional experience that would be highly beneficial:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity data lakes and analytics platforms
• Experience integrating IT and OT systems into enterprise SIEM environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, Cribl, Tines, or similar platforms
