• Build robust ETL workflows that handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources at scale.
• Design data models and ontologies that maximize the analytical power of the graph.
• Implement data validation and integrity checks across all ingestion processes to ensure consistent, trustworthy data.
• Develop APIs and data services that expose graph data to applications.
• Optimize graph queries for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and integrate new data sources.
• Maintain detailed documentation for pipelines, data models, and integration processes.
• Monitor and tune ETL processes for efficiency, resilience, and scalability, including alerting for data quality issues.
• Stay current on emerging ETL, virtualization and data engineering technologies, bringing innovative solutions into our workflow.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, data science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, including end‑to‑end ownership of ETL/ELT pipeline design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Practical experience implementing data validation, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation processes to ensure high‑quality, trustworthy datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with common data engineering libraries/frameworks such as Pandas, SQL Alchemy, PySpark, and/or Airflow.

  SQL databases, data warehouse platforms, and schema/model design.
• Experience with data governance practices, metadata management, and lineage tracking.
• Familiarity with graph query languages, such as SPARQL, Cypher, or Gremlin, and understanding of graph theory concepts to model complex relationships when needed.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot complex data workflows.

The annual base salary range for this role is $175,000-$300,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
