Institutional Equity Trader

We’re looking for a high-caliber Institutional Trader to join our New York City team. This is not a traditional desk role — you will help shape our trading strategy, influence product development, and work directly with engineering to build scalable execution systems.

You will operate at the intersection of markets and technology, executing institutional-scale flow while helping design the tools that power it.

• Execute large institutional orders across equities and related products with a focus on best execution and efficiency
• Manage real-time risk and exposure in fast-moving markets
• Partner closely with engineering and quantitative teams to refine trading algorithms and execution logic
• Provide feedback to product teams to improve trading workflows and infrastructure
• Analyze execution quality and market impact to continuously improve performance
• Build and maintain relationships with liquidity providers and broker-dealers
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk controls

• Active Series 7 license (required)
• 3+ years of experience trading at a large institution or hedge fund trading desk
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Deep understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics, and execution strategies
• Comfort managing meaningful notional exposure
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make rapid, data-driven decisions
• Entrepreneurial attitude — you thrive in ambiguity and take initiative

• Experience in a high-growth fintech or technology-enabled trading firm
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading systems
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or other data tools
• Experience scaling new trading products or entering new markets
