Job Summary :

Develops a wide variety of standard to complex reports for clinical business assessments utilizing the Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Analyzes and interprets clinical, utilization, and quality data elements to initiate, modify and improve reports. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of clinical operations and processes.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

• The evaluation of customer data management needs, workflow assessment related to the capture of discrete data, creation of custom report
• This position also requires communication and collaboration with Varian engineering teams on an ongoing development basis.
• Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting of custom reports, problem identification, testing recommended reporting strategies and solution deployment.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of progressive clinical systems support experience
• 2+ years experience with SQL query development, MS SQL reporting
• Working knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Access); standard reporting tools (Crystal reports, Microsoft BIDS/SSRS, Access) and Query optimization
• Strong foundation on T-SQL
• Familiarity with EMR software required. (EPIC, eClinical, Meditech, Altera). Altera experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate client informational needs and to determine appropriate alternative solutions

Required Education :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Management Information Science, Business or related discipline.
