Overview
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Records Management Specialist to provide technical, management, and documentation support for a large Federal agency initiative. This is a Full-Time, Mid-Level position in the Office Support department. Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr.
Responsibilities- Provides technical support for records management programs, dockets, records center, or other information services under the supervision of a Records Information Manager
- May assist in planning and program development, analysis of records or docket management problems, and design of strategies to meet ongoing records or docket management needs
- Specific technical duties may include, but are not limited to, response to inquiries; collection maintenance and retrieval tasks; metadata review and input; equipment maintenance; and use of automated information systems, such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS)
- At Level III, the personnel must have at least three (3) years of records management experience
- Experience with at least one automated information system is required
- A college degree is preferred but not required
