Data Modeler – Data Engineering (AWS Databricks)
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to work on a Data Engineering team dedicated to the design and delivery of data products using Databricks on AWS.
Responsibilities- Apply ER Studio and data modeling expertise to the design and development of data products.
- Work with Business Architects, Solution Architects, and Data Stewards to capture business requirements and develop conceptual and logical data models.
- Contribute to the ongoing updates of data modeling standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate physical data models to ensure alignment with logical models.
- Create notebooks in Databricks using Spark SQL and PySpark to support development activities.
- Support enterprise data catalog setup and enrichment.
- 4+ years of hands‑on data modeling experience with ER Studio.
- Strong background in conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional data modeling at both enterprise and data product levels.
- Extensive experience with Databricks, Spark SQL, and PySpark.
- Working knowledge of Medallion Architecture, Unity Catalog, and underlying DBMS platforms such as Oracle, Redshift, and Databricks.
- Experience in the financial sector with market securities reference data and fixed income such as Treasuries.
- Strong SQL skills and data engineering best practices.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 a year.
