Job Summary
The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving an organization’s computer systems, networks, and technology infrastructure. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations while providing technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and maintain networks, servers, and system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
- Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are followed.
- Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers as needed.
- Support IT projects and system implementations.
