Associate Systems Administrator

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a full-time Associate Systems Administrator beginning February 2, 2026.

The Associate Systems Administrator is a member of the Technology Department and reports to the Chief Information Officer. The position is primarily responsible for assisting with the maintenance and support of the school's owned devices and related systems to ensure reliable access to technology resources for the community.

• Assist System Administrator with designing, deploying, and managing automation scripts for user lifecycle management (onboarding/offboarding) across Active Directory and Google Workspace;
• Assist System Administrator with developing, testing, and maintaining master operating system images and policy configurations within JAMF Pro and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune);
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for help desk tickets; assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues;
• Escalate complex issues to the Systems Administrator after initial diagnostics;
• Help to maintain system backups and assist with disaster recovery protocols under supervision;
• Aid in maintaining accurate documentation for infrastructure configurations and Standard Operating Procedures;
• Research new technologies, provide recommendations to the System Administrator, and support their implementation; and
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on systems and hardware as directed.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to completion and within deadlines;
• Ability to work with individuals with a range of technological expertise in a courteous and professional manner while remaining calm and supportive;
• The ability to prioritize and offer concise advice during stressful times are crucial skills for this position;
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the School's mission;
• CompTIA A+, JAMF certification, Associate Google Workspace Administrator certification, or other relevant Microsoft certifications preferred;
• One or more current technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, Security+) is preferred;
• Minimum five or more years in a similar role within a mixed platform environment preferred (Microsoft Windows, Apple operating systems); and
• Prior K-12 experience preferred.

Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (salary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and expertise; pro-rated based on start date)
