Director, Account Management – Accounting & Finance

Hybrid‑Midtown NYC – International Conglomerate – Partner Development & Consulting focus. 3+ years in IT, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, Health‑IT, Digital Marketing, Engineering, and Communications.

Responsibilities
  • Support and grow existing IT & Communications business in the U.S., focusing on cybersecurity, digital marketing, digital engineering, and healthcare IT.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new partner opportunities in Japan and Asia, leveraging direct investments to create local solutions in the Americas.
  • Collaborate closely with company HQ in Japan, building cross‑cultural relationships and adapting to multiple verticals.
  • Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities, analyze industry trends, and maintain an “antenna” function for the ICT Business Unit.
  • Analyze financial data, develop models, and provide insights to senior management to support business decisions.
  • Drive sales support for cybersecurity initiatives, develop sales leads through conferences and events, and secure orders under the Director’s supervision.
  • Report regularly to senior management on business development initiatives, investment activity, and market trends; prepare presentations for prospects and internal executives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders, maintain a database of potential partners in Digital Marketing and other IT sectors.
  • Manage partnership engagements, oversee communication and strategic execution for influence areas.
  • Evaluate prospects’ positions, research and analyze partnership options, and propose partnership strategies to the General Manager.
    Utilize existing businesses to lead strategic expansion in the Americas, building traction rapidly and delivering local solutions.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years partnership development or consulting experience in IT, Digital Transformation, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, assess situations, and manage complex projects.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, adept at building relationships quickly.
  • Experience managing tasks and strategic business development planning in multicultural environments.
  • International business and business investment experience preferred.
