Key Responsibilities- Maintain and enhance internal financial reporting database applications
- Support implementation and enhancements for new and existing life insurance products
- Automate reporting requirements and improve operational efficiency
- Ensure successful monthly data warehouse loads and data integrity
- Develop control processes and produce automated and ad hoc reporting
- Translate complex business and actuarial requirements into technical specifications
- Provide L2 and L3 production support for Oracle-based financial database applications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across business, finance, and technology
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in database application development or database administration
- Strong Oracle experience (11g/19c), including SQL, PL/SQL, SQLPlus, and SQLLoader
- Linux experience, including shell scripting
- Hands‑on experience with TOAD
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, macros, data analysis)
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (ESP, Stonebranch UAC) preferred
- Exposure to MS Access and/or Python preferred
- Understanding of life insurance products or actuarial data environments is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on data validation and accuracy
