Position Overview

Mark
43 is seeking a Data Migration Analyst to join our Professional Services team in a highly customer-facing role supporting public safety agency implementations.

This individual will guide agencies through the full legacy data migration lifecycle — from early discovery and migration questionnaires to validation and final sign-off. You will serve as a trusted advisor to agency stakeholders, helping them understand how their legacy data translates into Mark
43 and ensuring a smooth and confident transition into our platform.

In this role, you will work closely with the Mark
43 Data Migration Engineering team and third-party migration contractors to ensure customer data requirements are clearly defined, accurately executed, and thoroughly validated.

This position requires travel to customer sites approximately 25–50% of the time, depending on project phase and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-migration discovery sessions with public safety agencies.
  • Guide agencies through completion of migration questionnaires and data documentation.
  • Serve as the primary migration point of contact for agency stakeholders.
  • Clearly explain differences between legacy systems and Mark
    43 data structures and functionality.
  • Bridge gaps between how data existed historically and how it will function within Mark
    43.
  • Partner closely with the Mark
    43 Data Migration Engineering team to translate agency requirements into technical migration deliverables.
  • When applicable, collaborate with third-party migration contractors to support accurate data mapping, transformation, and execution.
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations and technical implementation.
  • Support project planning and track migration milestones alongside project Program Managers.
  • Identify data risks, inconsistencies, and timeline concerns early in the process.
  • Facilitate structured migration validation rounds with agencies.
  • Track validation feedback and drive issue resolution in coordination with engineers and contractors.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance efforts.
  • Contribute to improving migration questionnaires, documentation, and validation workflows.
  • Support scalable and repeatable migration processes within Professional Services.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in customer-facing implementation, migration, or technical project roles.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical engineers and external contractors.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, agency-facing communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with public safety data systems (RMS, CAD, Records, etc.).
  • Experience supporting public safety agencies through technology transitions.
  • Experience participating in data validation, QA, or UAT cycles.
