Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and technically strong Web Experience Senior Project Manager to oversee projects and initiatives that span Merchandising and Web Experience/Web Content teams. This role is critical in ensuring that cross-functional efforts are clearly defined, properly prioritized, and executed efficiently in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in e-commerce, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for improving workflows. You will act as the central connector between business stakeholders and creative/operational teams, helping translate ideas into actionable plans that drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Merchandising and Web Experience/Web Content teams
- Facilitate clear communication and alignment among stakeholders to ensure shared goals and expectations
- Organize and lead meetings to brainstorm solutions, resolve roadblocks, and align priorities
Request Intake & Prioritization
- Triage incoming requests, categorize them appropriately, and assess urgency and impact
- Identify duplicate or conflicting requests and recommend prioritization strategies
- Conduct discovery for project tickets by asking thoughtful, clarifying questions to ensure requests are actionable
Workflow & Process Development
- Design and implement scalable workflows for interdepartmental collaboration
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization
- Ensure consistent execution of project intake and delivery standards
Project Execution & Tracking
- Create clear, concise, and well-structured project tickets to support seamless handoff between teams
- Follow up with stakeholders throughout execution to address questions, scope changes, or blockers
- Track progress across multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery
Strategic & Analytical Support
- Understand and help implement market research and analysis provided by the Merchandising team
- Balance business needs with market conditions and technical feasibility
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to develop optimal solutions and initiatives
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze, prioritize, and organize complex requests
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams toward shared objectives
- Proactive mindset with a strong ability to seek information and learn new concepts
- Comfortable learning and working with technical systems and tools
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Strong background in e-commerce required
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms
- Background in process improvement or workflow optimization
- Familiarity with content-heavy or product-driven digital environments
- Interest in or exposure to photography, video, or audio product categories is a plus
