-based investment firm focused on digital finance, blockchain, cybersecurity, and high-growth fintech innovations. We deploy capital into promising projects and products, often through SEC-compliant structures (e.g., Regulation

D), and collaborate with private investors, family offices, and VCs to co-invest in transformative opportunities. Our goal is to identify “real gems” — under-the-radar startups and projects on the pre-seed stage with exceptional potential for high ROI in the evolving digital economy.

We are seeking a highly networked, proactive Investment Associate to focus exclusively on building relationships and uncovering high-potential investment opportunities in startups and projects. This role is all about networking aggressively, spotting hidden gems early, and bringing forward deals with strong asymmetric upside and high ROI potential — especially in blockchain, DeFi, Web3 infrastructure, digital finance, cybersecurity for crypto/assets, and related fintech sectors.

• Proactively hunt for high-ROI opportunities in startups, protocols, and projects across blockchain, crypto, DeFi, Web3, digital assets, and cybersecurity.
• Build and expand proprietary deal flow through constant networking: attend/monitor crypto conferences (e.g., Consensus, Devcon), Discord/Telegram communities, X/Twitter spaces, Git Hub repos, indie hacker meetups, accelerators, and private channels.
• Cold outreach, warm intros, and relationship-building with founders, early-stage teams, and ecosystem players to discover projects before mainstream VCs pile in.
• Qualify opportunities quickly: assess founder quality, market fit, traction signals, and upside potential to filter for true “gems” with 10x+ ROI potential.
• Cultivate a broad, high-quality network of founders, angels, other associates, family offices, private investors, and co-investing VCs.
• Position UEX Capital as a go-to partner for early, high-conviction deals.
• Facilitate warm introductions and collaborate on co-investment opportunities with our partners.
• Prepare concise teasers, one-pagers, or quick notes on sourced gems (highlighting why it’s a high-ROI opportunity, key risks/upside, and founder strengths).
• Hand off qualified deals to the investment team for deeper evaluation.
• Track sourced opportunities and provide ongoing ecosystem insights/trend spotting.

• 2+ years in similar roles
• Proven networking ability: existing relationships with founders, investors, or communities that can generate real deal flow.
• Deep passion for and knowledge of digital finance, blockchain trends, DeFi protocols, cybersecurity, high-growth fintech and AI.
• Strong intuition for spotting “gems”: ability to identify asymmetric opportunities with massive upside and defensible moats early.
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable cold DMing, pitching the firm, and building trust quickly.
• Self-motivated hunter mindset: thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without needing constant direction.
• U.S. work authorization preferred.

• Prior experience as a VC scout, angel investor, or in deal origination/business development in fintech/crypto.
• Attendance at major events or active in niche communities (e.g., strong X presence in crypto).
• Track record of sourcing deals that led to investments (even informally).

• Base Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 annually (depending on experience, network strength, and location; higher for proven sourcers with crypto track record).
• Deal-specific bonuses or bounties (e.g., cash/percentage of invested amount for successful closings).
