The company has strong backing from top-tier investors and already supports a growing portfolio of high-velocity startups. With major expansion ahead, they’re hiring a Design Engineer to lead the visual and interactive direction of their platform, designing user journeys, product interfaces, and marketing assets that set the standard for simplicity and polish in financial technology.

You’ll sit at the intersection of design and engineering, transforming complex systems into intuitive, elegant experiences. The role combines hands-on product design with frontend development, giving you full visibility and impact across both how users experience the product and how it scales technically.

You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, building out design systems, component libraries, and prototypes that shape the long-term direction of the platform. It’s a high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments.

• Design, build, and maintain design systems across web and mobile products
• Create marketing assets, landing pages, and visuals that drive engagement and growth
• Develop component libraries, design tokens, and documentation that scale across teams
• Prototype new features using Figma and AI tools to validate concepts quickly
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product and business goals into clean design solutions

• Strong experience in product design and frontend engineering
• Strong proficiency with Figma and solid CSS fundamentals
• Experience with Type Script, React, Next.js, and Tailwind
• Background in startup or digital agency environments
• Happy to work on-site in New York City
