Harrington Starr are pleased to be partnered with a fast‑growing fintech firm who is seeking a hands‑on Integration Specialist / Technical Solutions Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, solving technical challenges, and delivering seamless integrations in a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll take ownership of client onboarding, data and system integrations, and ongoing technical support — ensuring our trading technology connects effortlessly with client systems and external venues.

• Lead technical onboarding and configuration for new client integrations.
• Design and implement custom integration solutions in collaboration with internal and client teams.
• Manage deliverables and ensure integrations are completed accurately and on schedule

• Provide technical support
  , including log analysis, SQL queries, and troubleshooting back‑end services.
• Investigate, document, and resolve client issues, escalating as needed.
• Contribute to process and documentation improvements to enhance the client experience.

• Strong proficiency in Python
  .
• Solid SQL experience (writing queries with joins, filters, aggregations).
• Hands‑on experience integrating with REST or gRPC APIs
  .
• Proven troubleshooting ability across logs, configurations, and back‑end systems.

• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Strong organization and time management.
• A self‑starter who investigates before escalating, with sound judgment on when to ask for help.

• 2+ years in a related technical role (e.g., Integration Specialist, Dev Ops, SDET, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Support).
• Experience with in Financial asset classes (Equities, Derivatives, FX, Fixed Income).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to work Eastern Time (EST) hours

• Prior client‑facing or consulting experience.
• Familiarity with C# or Java

• Understanding of financial markets or trading systems

• Based in or near the New York City metro area
  .
