Job Description
The Technical Specialist will work in the IBM Infrastructure Sales – Technical Sales team. This team is responsible for providing technical expertise to customers, business partners, and IBM internal staff. The team focuses on developing and delivering structured solutions using Power Systems.
The Technical Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
• Support the Technical Sales team with a focus on the AI/Analytics and Redhat/Openshift on Power growth markets
• Develop structured approaches and methods to identify the value of IBM and Open Source solutions for customers
• Collaborate with other teams to gather the necessary skills and resources to support customer needs
• Participate in briefings, workshops, proof of concepts, and other activities to support the sales process
Qualifications
• Fluent in German and English
• Basic knowledge of information technologies
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
• Mobility and willingness to work in (international) teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Linux knowledge
• Programming experience (e.g., Python, Java, etc.)
• Interest in/knowledge of computer and processor architectures
