Partner Development Manager, Provider Ecosystem
Location: Remote (US). Optional hybrid in NYC.
The OpportunityWe are a high-growth AI infrastructure startup building the future of global AI model access. As our first dedicated hire focused on provider supply, you will have a foundational role in architecting and scaling our network of LLM and inference partners. Your work will directly shape the quality, reliability, and economics of our platform.
The RoleYou will own the strategy and execution for growing and managing our global provider ecosystem. This is a hands-on role where you will source and onboard new model providers and inference platforms, manage strategic relationships, negotiate commercial terms, ensure compliance with strict data policies, and safeguard platform economics through billing accuracy and SLA enforcement. You will operate from zero to one, building scalable programs in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
WhatYou ll Do
- Develop and execute the strategy to source, evaluate, and onboard new model providers and inference infrastructure.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with key partners, including technical integration, roadmap collaboration, and quarterly business reviews.
- Negotiate commercial and technical agreements covering pricing, data governance, SLAs, and compliance.
- Build and run programs to ensure provider compliance with data policies (no-train/no-retain, GDPR, etc.).
- Partner with Finance to ensure billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and enforce SLAs to protect platform revenue.
- Serve as the cross-functional leader between providers and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Growth).
- You have 8+ years in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, with 3-5+ years specifically in supply-side or ecosystem partnership roles.
- Startup experience is a must. You thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy building from the ground up.
- You have a strong grasp of technical integrations (APIs, authentication, metrics) and can dive into billing logs and performance data.
- You are an expert negotiator of complex agreements involving data privacy, SLAs, and usage-based pricing.
- You are an excellent communicator and proven relationship manager, capable of influencing both technical and executive stakeholders.
