We're continuing to scale and seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to help evolve its infrastructure and support the next phase of growth.
Role OverviewThe Staff Platform Engineer will partner closely with application engineering, data science, and analytics teams to design, manage, and optimize infrastructure. This role offers broad ownership across operations, application and data infrastructure, security, and performance, along with meaningful input into architectural and technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support multiple customer-facing applications and services
- Improve reliability, scalability, and performance across infrastructure and systems
- Contribute to technical architecture discussions, including deployment, security, and availability strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders to address infrastructure needs
- Maintain and support internal business and analytics systems used across departments
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with Auto Scaling, CDNs, DNS, load balancers, multi-region and multi-tenant architectures, proxy servers, and WAFs
- Strong experience with Linux, shell/bash, and Python scripting
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Kibana, or similar)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with configuration management and provisioning tools (Terraform preferred)
- Experience managing relational databases (Postgres/RDS, Redshift, or similar)
- Exposure to ingestion/ETL workflows is a plus
- Experience with streaming or big data processing technologies (Kafka, Spark, or similar) is a plus
- Salary range: $180,000 – $225,000

The annual salary for this position is between $180K-$225K annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
