UX Researcher; Sports

Our technology client near Union Square is building something special at the intersection of product (iOS and Android) and sports betting and they are looking for a UX Researcher to help define how research shapes their product from day one.

• This is not a plug-and-play research role. This is a build-it-from-scratch opportunity.
• If you thrive in early-stage environments, love rolling up your sleeves and believe research should sit at the heart of product decisions, keep reading.
• As a UX Researcher, you’ll lay the foundation for how insights inform strategy, design and product development. You’ll partner closely with Product, Design and Leadership to help build experiences that truly resonate with users.

  near Union Square (4x per week in-office); this is not a remote role
• Pay Rate: $70.00/hour

• Define research roadmap and processes
• Establish best practices and frameworks
• Build a research repository from the ground up
• Influence product direction at a foundational level

• 4+ years of UX research experience with strong qualitative research experience (interviews, usability testing, diary studies, ethnographic approaches)
• Thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments
• Wants to build research foundations from scratch
• Has a genuine interest or background in sports or sports betting
• Is based in NYC and excited to be in-office 4 days/week
• Is proactive, scrappy and strategic. You don’t wait for perfect conditions; you create clarity through research
