My client, a highly prestigious hedge fund, is seeking a hands-on Technology Operations Lead to join their fast-growing technology function in New York.

Sitting at the heart of a technology-driven trading environment, you’ll take ownership of the firm’s core operational infrastructure, partnering closely with front office, finance, treasury, and engineering teams to ensure resilience, scalability, and control across back and middle office platforms.

My client is specifically looking for a technical operator who can lead from the front. You will act as the subject matter expert across operational systems, accounting platforms, treasury technology, and post-trade infrastructure, while driving automation, optimisation, and architectural improvements. You’ll also be responsible for leading a team, enhancing controls and processes across the full operational stack.

The ideal candidate will come from a buy-side environment, with deep experience across middle/back office technology, fund accounting workflows, treasury systems, and trade support infrastructure. Proven leadership experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a hands-on approach to systems and process improvement are essential.
