Job Summary:
This position will manage and execute all aspects of the Service Now modernization technology projects in any one of the following specialties: planning, executing, and delivering Service Now implementation and enhancement projects within scope, timeline, and budget. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, manages stakeholder expectations, and drives successful adoption of Service Now solutions across the MTA. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, eight years' experience in the appropriate specialties and a minimum of two years' experience as a project manager (PMP is desirable).
Experience should include a sound understanding of technical issues and outstanding planning (experience in preparation of project plans a must), scheduling, implementation, and evaluation skills. Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with the user community and the technical staff is essential.
- Project Management: Collaborate with teams on end-to-end Service Now projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports in partnership with the Service Now team and ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with MTA policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and define project scope. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Service Now Expertise: Knowledge of the Service Now Platform and modules (PSDS, ITSM, ITOM, CRM, HRSD, CMDB) and ensure from the MTA side that Service Now consultants adherence to Service Now best practices and governance standards setup for with the MTA Teams.
