NOTE :
This job requires traveling to 37 locations within 5 borough of NYC on need basis.

Consultant Qualifications & Experience
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in IT Technical Support team leadership in an enterprise environment with a focus on cyber security.
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in supporting and maintaining a Microsoft Windows computing environment with hands on troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices running Android and Apple iOS operating systems.
Education and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity engineering, information systems or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of IT supportive skills using ticketing systems and project management tools.
  • Skilled at working independently, with direction from ACS IT management and prioritize multiple tasks for the team and adapt to needed changes.
  • Understand and follow broad and complex instructions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Effectively communicate technical issues to team members and diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
  • Comprehend technical language and to confer, analyze and write in an objective, lucid manner.
  • Create workflows and technical documentation.
  • Remain calm under high pressure/difficult situations.
  • Preferred certifications:
    Security+, Network+, A+ from CompTIA, cyber security certifications such as CISM, ITIL certifications.
Scope of Work
  • Travel between 37 office locations, delivering on-site remediation and support.
  • Develop solutions and plans for updating IT devices as directed.
  • Address vulnerabilities and deficiencies affecting laptops, tablets and smartphones.
  • Support remediation of zero-day vulnerabilities as identified by Cyber Command and CISO.
  • Resolve network reconnection issues, ensuring devices that have fallen out of compliance can rejoin the network.
  • Work directly with end users to troubleshoot issues that prevent regular patching, updates, and compliance.
  • Document and provide work activity reports as defined by IT Management.
  • Create technical documents as needed.
  • Provide guidance to supervised staff regarding escalated issues.
  • Develop schedules and staff assignment matrices for the team working in various boroughs.
  • Escalate issues to IT Management.
  • Ensure customer service standards are maintained when the team is interacting with staff.
  • Perform additional technical tasks assigned to augment ongoing cyber remediation efforts.
