Informatica/Teradata

• Strong working experience in Informatica Power Center, Teradata, Oracle, SQL and UNIX.
• Develop ETL programs for data extraction, transformation and loading using Informatica Power Center.
• Create UNIX shell scripts to run the Informatica workflows and control the ETL flow.
• ETL of data from various sources into Data Marts and Data Warehouse using Informatica Power Center components (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor).
• Create Transformations and mappings using Informatica Designer; process tasks using Workflow Manager to move data from multiple sources into targets.
• Knowledge in Teradata; creating/modifying BTEQ files.
• UNIX skills to analyze/create UNIX scripts individually.
• Knowledge in ETL process, standards, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in Batch processing, scheduling jobs in Teradata and SQL programming (Stored procedures, Functions, Complex joins, Triggers, Indexing, DML and DDL).
• Control-M knowledge for job monitoring and scheduling.
• Database diagnostics, query optimization, performance tuning and monitoring.
• Proven experience in Data Modelling.
• Translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions meeting development standards.
• Attend client calls individually, perform requirement gathering and prepare required documents.
• Debugging and analyzing issues and resolving in a timely manner.
• Keep up to date with latest technical advances within the agreed technical specialism.
• Flexible/willing to work across Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
• Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini.

• 3-7 years experience with minimum 2 years relevant in the role;
  Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
• Progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
