SAP Workflow Consultant

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (Open Kyber), is searching for a Senior Data Platform Engineer – Databricks (SaaS on AWS) for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York City, NY. Remote work location in the United States.

Key skills include 5+ years in data platform engineering, strong Databricks and Terraform expertise, and AWS cloud‑native database experience.

• Engineer and scale a Databricks (SaaS on AWS) platform supporting enterprise analytics and AI/ML workloads.
• Design and automate secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) within AWS.
• Build and optimize production data workflows in Databricks within a regulated cloud environment.
• Leverage strong AWS cloud‑native database expertise to support performance, scalability, and platform reliability.
• Implement Dev Sec Ops  best practices across CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

• 5+ years in data platform, cloud data engineering, or data infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks (SaaS on AWS) in production environments.
• Deep experience with Terraform (IaC) for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud‑native databases (e.g., Aurora, RDS, Redshift or similar), including performance tuning and architecture.
• Solid AWS fundamentals (S3, IAM, networking, security architecture).

• Experience working within regulated enterprise environments.
