Location: New York
📍 Manhattan, NY (Wall St.) – Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

We’re looking for a Level 2/ 2.5 System Engineer who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced MSP environment. This role splits time between projects and escalated support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on troubleshooting and building solutions the right way.

What You’ll Be Doing- Lead infrastructure‑related troubleshooting and outages
- Support and deploy Azure and VMware environments
- Manage Windows Server (AD, GPO) and Microsoft 365 / Exchange
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls (Sonic Wall)
- Coach Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers on technical decisions
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis
- Identify automation opportunities and improve processes
- Support proactive and reactive incident response
- Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation
This is not a ticket factory role. You’ll be expected to think critically, take ownership, and advocate for the client’s business impact.
Technical Requirements (MSP Experience Required)- Prior experience working in an MSP environment (non‑negotiable)
- VMware virtualization experience
- Windows Server (AD, GPO) administration
- Firewall concepts and troubleshooting (Sonic Wall preferred)
- Strong communicator with a client‑facing presence
- Someone who can assess unfamiliar environments quickly
- Comfortable balancing projects and escalations
- Professional, team‑oriented personality

- $70K–$90K base (based on experience)
