INTL - India AWS Application Developer

Overview

Insight Global is seeking AWS Application Engineers to join a large financial firm. The individuals in this role will be joining the employee platforms organization and will work on mission-critical AWS and Amazon Connect platforms, have Hands-on engineering with real architectural impact and have an opportunity to build modern, serverless, API-driven solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based applications with a focus on Amazon Connect
• Build and expose APIs that integrate with Amazon Connect and supporting AWS services
• Develop AWS Lambda functions, utilities, and backend services
• Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Cloud Formation and/or Terraform
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to design scalable, secure AWS solutions
• Implement AWS best practices for security, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions
• Support enhancements and new feature development for existing AWS workloads

• Strong hands-on experience developing applications on AWS
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Cloud Formation and/or Terraform
• Strong experience building serverless applications, including: AWS Lambda, API Gateway
• Proven experience designing and implementing APIs and backend services on AWS
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language:
  Python, Java, or Node.js (language flexibility is acceptable)
• Experience building application logic and cloud infrastructure using code, not manual configuration
