Position: Payments Product Manager
Location: New York

Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, product management managing large programs or portfolio of applications
  • Ability to work as individual player and team leader
  • Experienced in budgeting, planning and stakeholder management, risk, and Impact analysis
  • Plan and manage projects based on organizational and technical guidance in collaboration with various stakeholders including Product Owner
  • Manage product documentation, resource forecasting/capacity planning and dependencies
  • Understanding various program management or product management techniques such as clarity
  • Manage multiple applications and product platforms as part of entire prise aquisition
  • Identify modernization opportunities, including simplification, consolidation, performance improvements, and enhanced network-based risk decisioning.
  • Partner with Risk Technology, Network teams, Enterprise Architecture, and Data Strategy to shape long-term platform capabilities.
  • Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for authorization and risk features.
  • Map current legacy workflows and translate them into target-state capabilities on the new authorization system or network.
  • Lead migration planning including dependency assessment, sequencing, change-management strategy, and operational readiness.
  • Drive execution through agile ceremonies, backlog prioritization, and release planning. Support the team through the various migration phases (build, parallel test, ramp up, cutover, fallback and decommission)
  • Partner closely with engineering leaders to ensure timely delivery, high quality, and adherence to architectural standards.
  • Coordinate functional tests, performance validation, and end-to-end readiness assessments.
  • Facilitate alignment across domains on migration strategy, risk controls, customer impact, and timeline.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
