As a Security Engineer at Wizeline, you will collaborate with security engineers, software development, and platform teams to ensure the delivery and maintenance of secure products using modern technologies. You will champion security best practices, conduct security consultations and training, and evaluate new security tools. A key aspect of the role involves risk-based vulnerability management, balancing security needs with customer and business requirements, and effectively communicating these risks to the business.

Responsibilities:

* Work with security engineers to learn organizational processes and technologies.

* Collaborate with software development and platform teams to deliver and maintain secure products.

* Champion security best practices and conduct training sessions.

* Evaluate and support existing and new security tooling.

* Manage vulnerabilities based on risk, balancing security, customer, and business needs.

* Communicate security risks to the business.

Must-Have Skills:

* Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.

* Motivated team player with a focus on delivery and solutions.

* Excellent communication skills to articulate security risks and improvements.

* Solid security knowledge and enthusiasm for software security.

* Understanding of common software vulnerabilities.

* Experience developing code and working in a cloud-native environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

* Experience in a fintech environment.

* Experience with Azure, .NET, and Kubernetes (or similar technologies).

* Experience with enterprise technologies like Databricks and Power BI.
