Shopify Architect

As a Shopify Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying eCommerce solutions using Shopify and related technologies. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, ensuring that our clients receive innovative and effective solutions that enhance their online presence and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Shopify projects, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers to deliver tailored eCommerce solutions that meet client requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, trends, and best practices to provide strategic recommendations for platform use.
• Ensure the quality of code through code reviews and best practices in software development.
• Develop custom themes and applications using Liquid templating language and Shopify’s API.
• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and propose effective eCommerce strategies.
• Document architecture designs, development processes, and configurations for future reference.
• Architect and develop scalable Shopify solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and maintainability.
• Lead the technical implementation of Shopify Plus, including custom theme development, app integrations, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business, design, and development teams) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solution
• Integrate Shopify with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, and Marketing tools).
• Ensure compliance with best practices in security, performance, and accessibility.
• Mentor and guide developers on Shopify best practices and technical solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in eCommerce development, specifically with Shopify.
• Strong experience in Shopify architecture, theme customization, and Shopify App development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with external systems.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
