Job Summary:

Taptap Send is a rapidly growing fintech company on a mission to reduce inequity by helping immigrants transfer money home. They are seeking a Business Operations Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives, tackle complex problems, and drive efficiency as they scale new product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead key initiatives on new product— diving into problems, building execution plans, and delivering results

• Partner with teams across the org (Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Ops, Legal, etc.) to get stuff done

• Design and improve key business processes and systems

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build internal tools that drive efficiency and scalability

• Support tech prioritization and resourcing decisions with key inputs on what we need to scale new product lines

• Conduct high-quality analysis using SQL, Excel, and other tools to support decision-making

• Help shape internal operating cadence, tracking KPIs and ensuring accountability

Qualifications:

Required:

• 4-8 years of experience in a high-performing, analytical environment (consulting, biz ops, startup/scale-up, or similar)

• Proven track record of taking initiatives from concept to execution

• Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• "Owner mindset" – thrives on responsibility and is equally comfortable in the weeds or thinking big-picture

• Bias for action and instinct to simplify complex problems

• Outgoing - you love speaking to people and enjoy building meaningful relationships

• Execution Oriented - we have an ‘impact first’ philosophy and a lot to get done. You should be able to take an idea to implementation

• Mission Oriented - you are passionate about working for a net positive organisation / tech for good

• Organised - you have a system for how you approach your work that can keep you on track in a scrappy startup environment

• Driven - you thrive in a fast-paced, target oriented company

Preferred:

• fluency in languages beyond English

• experience working in global or emerging markets
