IT Support, Systems Administrator, Technical Support
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues; escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed
- Deliver remote and in-person support to employees across multiple office locations
- Configure and deploy workstations, software, peripherals, and user accounts
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning/deprovisioning of user access and systems
- Document standard procedures, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and maintain asset records
- Assist with staff training on tools, best practices, and IT policies
- Contribute to larger IT initiatives, system upgrades, and infrastructure projects
- Provide support during security assessments and audits
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards and protocols
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco) strongly preferred - 1–3 years in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows/Linux/iOS environments
- Experience supporting MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts and diagnostics
- Ability to install and replace hardware components and peripherals
- Logical thinking and effective problem-solving skills
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) and remote support platforms
- Knowledge of NIST and CMMC cybersecurity standards
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., scripting, Group Policy Objects)
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (computers, monitors, UPS units)
- Willingness to crawl under desks or access wiring closets as needed
- Comfortable using ladders to reach equipment up to 20 feet above ground level
Base Salary Range: $ 60,000- $ 70,000 (Annually)
Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
