About the RoleWe’re looking for a Retention Manager who is obsessed with turning first-time buyers into lifelong customers. This role is all about building meaningful relationships with our community, increasing repeat purchase, and making our subscription experience genuinely irresistible.
You’ll own the full retention ecosystem from email and SMS to subscription strategy and lifecycle marketing where you will be a key driver of sustainable, profitable growth. We are looking for someone who builds creative, data-driven solutions to make sure customers come back over and over again.
Key Responsibilities- Own and execute our retention strategy across email, SMS, and subscription lifecycle
- Build, launch, and optimize data-driven, on-brand email and SMS campaigns that align with brand voice, business goals, and customer insights
- Manage all lifecycle and promotional messaging in Klaviyo, including campaign planning, segmentation, QA, deployment, and post-send analysis
- Develop and improve customer journeys including post-purchase flows, replenishment journeys, win-back campaigns, and subscription touchpoints
- Partner closely with Ecommerce, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure retention initiatives feel on-brand, thoughtful, and high-impact
- Continuously test and iterate on messaging, offers, timing, and creative to drive second purchase and beyond
- Analyze customer behavior, cohort performance, and retention metrics to identify opportunities and insights
- Ideate and implement out-of-the-box retention initiatives beyond “standard” lifecycle flows
- Support subscription growth and optimization (reducing churn, increasing LTV, improving subscriber experience)
- Collaborate on or create landing pages that support retention, subscription, or repeat purchase initiatives (preferred)
- Explore and support loyalty initiatives as needed (nice to have, not required)
- Contribute insights or strategy related to Amazon retention and cross-channel behavior (nice to have)
- 3+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing within ecommerce
- Direct experience managing a subscription ecommerce program is required
- Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo (email + SMS) is required
- Heavy focus on data and reporting to understand the success of initiatives
- Strong understanding of ecommerce customer journeys, especially post-purchase and replenishment cycles
- Comfortable working with data, testing frameworks, and performance metrics (LTV, repeat rate, churn, etc.)
- Creative thinker who enjoys experimenting and challenging “best practices”
- Experience creating or collaborating on landing pages is a strong plus
- Loyalty program experience is a plus ;
Amazon ecommerce experience is a plus ;
Skio experience is a plus
