SAP PS Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant to lead the configuration, optimization, and support of SAP Project Systems across a complex enterprise landscape. This role manages end-to-end PS processes—including project structuring, cost and revenue planning, budgeting, and integrations with CO, MM, SD, and FI—while resolving high-priority incidents, maintaining SLAs, and supporting agency financial close. The consultant will drive process improvements and automation initiatives, guide major enhancements, coordinate testing, develop documentation and training materials, and lead workshops to support user adoption.

Success in this role requires deep SAP PS expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders while delivering timely, high-quality solutions.

• Configure SAP PS and customize it to meet business needs.
• Support and troubleshoot SAP PS-related issues (L3); manage high-priority incidents (P1/P2), perform root cause analysis, and maintain SLAs.
• Handle project structures, cost planning, and revenue recognition; support agency closing processes and continuous improvements.
• Integrate SAP with in-house and third-party systems; lead workshops for process adoption and major enhancements.
• Prepare effort estimates and ensure timely, high-quality delivery; conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Prepare and update support documentation and training materials; drive automation initiatives and enhance in-house tools to streamline processes.
• Analyze IT processes and propose improvements to drive solution efficiency; deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
• Track delivery timelines and gather feedback from stakeholders.

• Deep knowledge of SAP PS module with understanding of its integration with CO, MM, SD, FI.
• Strong grasp of cost planning, revenue planning, budgeting, and actual cost tracking.
• Experience with SAP PS custom exits and their best utilization.
• Experience with S/4
  
  HANA implementations; project structuring (WBS, networks, milestones); interface design with third-party applications.
• Documentation skills:
  As-Is/To-Be, functional specs, training materials; strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering.

Pay Range: $43 - $50 USD
