Compensation: $300k-400k, bonus eligibility

Role PurposeThe Chief Technology Officer is accountable for designing, scaling, and operating the digital, data, and technology infrastructure that underpins OTG’s guest experience, operational execution, and commercial outcomes. The CTO will ensure technology is a strategic enabler of margin, speed, reliability, compliance, and differentiated guest experience in high-volume airport terminals.
Core Responsibilities Enterprise Technology & Infrastructure- Architect and scale a secure, resilient enterprise technology stack across 30+ airport terminals with complex network & cybersecurity requirements
- Oversee cloud, network, and hardware strategy for terminals, restaurants, markets, commissaries, and support centers
- Ensure uptime, cyber compliance, disaster recovery, and PCI/HIPAA/airport-security alignment
- Own digital ordering, payment, loyalty, kiosk, and in-terminal omni-channel retail platforms
- Drive seamless integration of POS, kitchen systems, payment, loyalty, mobile, and third-party delivery feeds
- Partner with Operations to reduce ordering friction, increase throughput, and improve check size & frequency
- Build enterprise data strategy (guest, supply chain, labor, financial, airport contracts)
- Develop real-time decision intelligence (forecasting, waste reduction, labor deployment, pricing analytics)
- Establish governance around data integrity, ownership, and enterprise availability
- Translate business strategy into a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to growth, margin, and experience
- Evaluate build/buy/partner tradeoffs; negotiate and manage strategic vendor relationships
- Deliver measurable ROI on technology investments and automation initiatives
- Oversee cybersecurity, asset protection, identity, and access controls
- Ensure compliance with airport authorities, TSA, FAA, credit security, and privacy standards
- Lead incident response and enterprise continuity readiness
- Build and lead a high-impact engineering, product, and IT organization
- Partner with CFO/COO/CMO/CHRO to embed technology in business cadences
- Create a culture of reliability, velocity, and accountability to the field
- 15+ years progressive technology leadership; multi-unit hospitality, travel, retail, logistics, or concession experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success scaling enterprise platforms across geographically distributed, regulated, high-dependency environments
- Direct leadership of digital ordering/commerce platforms, POS ecosystems, loyalty, data platforms, and cloud infrastructures
- Proven P&L mindset — demonstrable history of margin, throughput, and productivity impact via technology
- Experience with private-equity or board-governed environments desirable
- Strong command of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk in mission-critical operating environments
- Decisive operator — moves with speed and conviction in ambiguous, high-pressure situations
- Commercially minded technologist — designs technology as an enabler of operating leverage
- Field-centric — builds for reliability and adoption in crews’ hands, not for the lab
