IT Procurement Manager - Hardware, AMS

Responsibilities

• Partner with Byte Dance's IT Solution Delivery Management team in the selection of IT service partners, building IT standards and sourcing strategies, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects.
• Driving cost savings, mitigating risk and managing key sourcing projects.
• Manage and improve the performance of IT services vendors.
• Improve and optimize processes and drive cost out of the organization.
• Run negotiations with strategic suppliers; manage RFXs and vendor business reviews.
• Scrutinize supplier-pricing structure, quotes, and resolve anomalies. Also, manage day-to-day supplier operational issues and meet project deadlines.
• Develop vendor base and categories for IT services. Establish and communicate the new vendor's introduction process and stick to standards with the highest integrity.
• Work closely with finance, tax, and legal teams on the regional requirements from a global view.

• Minimum Qualifications
  :
  • Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of relevant Technology sourcing/procurement experience, especially IT network hardware, office hardware, and services in a multinational corporation.
  • In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement processes (sourcing, contracting, negotiation, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships with global key manufacturers and resellers in the IT industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication, able to establish trust and communication with stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications
  :
  • Experience in Project/Program Management.
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of various IT networks and infrastructure-related technology (Audiovisual Conferencing, Physical & Data Security, Networking, Switching, and Wireless).
  • Knowledge of construction project-related tendering processes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and apply it to decision-making.
