.

As a GIS Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. • Act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems.
• Conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead test execution.
• Design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY; willing to relocate.
• Experience with testing strategies and test execution.
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.

• Candidate must be ready to travel.

• At least 4+ years of experience in leading Utilities Geographical Information System projects – this should include planning, strategizing, execution, and reporting
  - MANDATORY
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcFM
  - MANDATORY
• Excellent communication and client interfacing skills – should possess the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders
• At least 4 years of experience in test strategy and test design

• Working experience with ADO
  - MANDATORY
• Experience with Utilities domain
  - MANDATORY
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for GIS testing projects
• At least 4 years of experience in test execution analysis & reporting.
• Ability to analyse test reports/results and provide high level recommendations.
• Ability to create test data.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Possess good analytical skills.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills – experience in client interfacing roles is a must.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
