• Effectively present and defend design rationale based on the brand, business needs, user goals, and usability, rather than personal opinion.
• Strong understanding of interface design principles; navigation and architecture; and typography, color, and layout principles.
• Experience designing for AI-powered applications, including conversational interfaces, data visualization, and algorithmic decision-making systems.
• Proficiency in design system creation and maintenance, including component libraries, design tokens, and documentation standards.
• Knowledge of Design Ops methodologies, team scaling practices, and design process optimization.
• Understanding of accessibility standards WCAGand inclusive design principles.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, vibe coding tools in Figma, Magic Path, Lovable, etc and ability to evaluate and implement new tools.
• Collaborate with technical team members and mentor more junior colleagues.
• Speak and write well, play well with others, and engage with senior-level clients.
• Experience in consulting and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and collaborate with distributed delivery teams.
• Strategic thinking ability to align design initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps.

• Experience leading design for enterprise software, B2B applications, or complex data-driven interfaces.
• Background in service design or experience design for multi-touchpoint customer journeys.
• Knowledge of research methodologies including quantitative UX research and analytics interpretation.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and design integration in Dev Ops workflows.
• Understanding of product management principles and go-to-market strategies.
• Certification or formal training in design leadership, design thinking, or related methodologies.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a design discipline, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or relevant experience.

Continuous learning mindset with staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving design practices.
