Job Description The Mobile Specialist is responsible for the implementation, configuration, testing, and support of
** Maximo Mobile within the MAS 9.x environment
** to enable field-based operations for Staten Island Ferry personnel. This role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions across multiple device types and operating systems while supporting offline functionality, synchronization, and integration with enterprise asset management workflows.###

Key Responsibilities
* Architect, configure, and deploy Maximo Mobile applications for
** iOS, Android, and Windows
** devices in accordance with DOT security and operational requirements.
* Configure mobile workflows to support work management, inventory, preventive maintenance, service requests, and inspection activities.
* Implement and test
** offline data synchronization**, ensuring reliability in disconnected or low-connectivity environments.
* Configure authentication, authorization, and device security policies in coordination with DOT and IBM cloud teams.
* Test mobile applications across supported devices and operating systems; troubleshoot client-side and synchronization issues.
* Support integration of
** barcode and RFID scanning
** with Maximo Mobile to enable real-time inventory and asset tracking.
* Collaborate with functional consultants to align mobile workflows with business processes and operational needs.
* Assist with UAT activities related to mobile functionality and support end-user training efforts.
* Provide post–go-live mobile support and issue resolution.### Qualifications
* ** 3–5+ years
** of experience implementing Maximo Mobile or similar EAM mobile solutions.
* Hands-on experience with
** MAS 9.x Mobile framework
** and mobile deployment best practices.###

Preferred Experience
* Public-sector or transportation field operations.
* Experience supporting offline-capable mobile applications for maintenance and inspection crews.
