Brand Designer, Website

• Design and build web experiences in Webflow. Own projects end-to-end, from concept and layout exploration through development and launch, including product pages, launches, and experimental brand moments.
• Ship quickly with high taste. Work with a fast launch cadence, moving from brief to build with minimal handoffs and strong design decisions under speed, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Design brand-forward web experiences where the brand is felt, not explained. Focus on meaningful interactions that reflect Clay’s values and ethos, taking creative risks when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Growth, and Events to translate goals into web experiences. Lead projects or support new ideas through launch.
• Push Clay’s web presence forward by exploring human, creative, and curious brand expressions while maintaining clarity, usability, and conversion.

• 6+ years of experience in visual design for the web.
• Experience building web experiences in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Webflow CMS; familiarity with Three.js, GSAP, Next.js, and React development.
• Ability to move ideas to production without relying on handoffs.
• Strong design judgment and taste, especially when moving fast.
• Systems mindset with a willingness to break the rules when the moment calls for it.
• Focus on interaction, motion, and storytelling over static comps.
• Enthusiasm for experimentation and learning through shipping.
• Portfolio demonstrating design skills, attention to detail, and understanding of typography, color, layout, and composition.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to keep stakeholders and cross-functional teams informed.
• Ability to accept feedback and refine work with limited supervision while maintaining an opinionated style.
• Can-do, get-it-done attitude.
