Bird, an award-winning digital agency, seeks a Creative Web Designer to transform ideas into stunning, functional websites. Work with diverse clients, including local SMEs and global brands like Huawei, St James’s Place, and First Data.

As a Creative Web Designer, you will work as part of our industry-leading team, contributing to a variety of projects. From day one, you will be involved in creating digital campaigns from concept to completion. You will liaise with clients and collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best project outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conceptualise and create unique web designs from scratch.
• Design dynamic banners and website elements.
• Use platforms like Word Press, Woo Commerce, and Magento to create aesthetically compelling websites.
• Customise themes, configure plugins, and integrate payment gateways.
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and optimised for performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align web design with brand strategy.
• Stay updated with design trends and technologies.

We want to hire an experienced individual with a strong background in web design and the ambition to advance their career. We utilise state-of-the-art in-house systems and access to industry-leading tools. To excel in this role, it is essential that you have:

• Proficiency in Word Press, Woo Commerce, and Magento.
• Strong web design principles and responsive design knowledge.
• Experience in theme customization, plugin configuration, and payment gateway integration.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative teamwork.
• A portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills.
• Knowledge of graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
